Focus on your Business, while we manage your trademark.

We provide brand owners with the best possible insights into intellectual property. For those seeking a more specific reporting feature, Trademarks Worldwide Ltd offers tools related to trademarks, designs, brands, and associated areas.

Our vision is to apply the latest knowledge and developments in the field of IT to intellectual property. This is how we utilise artificial intelligence and machine learning tools for searching, validation, and verification of brands.

In addition to brands, we also cover and continually expand other areas that are directly or indirectly related to the protection of intellectual property. We foresee these areas converging even further in the future.

Therefore, it is essential to cover them as well.

Tommy Hilfiger Wins WIPO Battle Over Domain Name Imitators

Tommy Hilfiger Licensing LLC, a subsidiary of PVH Corporation, secured a victory at the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center after an administrative panel ordered the transfer of nine domain names incorporating the fashion house’s trademark to the company. The domains — which included addresses such as tommyhilfigerpants.com and tommyhilfigerracist.com — had been registered simultaneously in July 2025 by entities using pinyin-style pseudonyms and inactive websites. The panel found that the domains were "confusingly similar" to the TOMMY HILFIGER mark and had been registered in bad faith, pointing to their opportunistic targeting of a globally recognised brand. Respondents failed to mount a defence, further reinforcing the ruling in favour of the complainant. The case underscores PVH Corporation’s ongoing enforcement of its intellectual property portfolio, which includes Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger — brands that, despite pandemic-era setbacks, remain among the most recognisable names in global fashion.

  • Beiersdorf Targets 'NIVEUS' Trademark in US Dispute

Beiersdorf Targets 'NIVEUS' Trademark in US Dispute

Beiersdorf AG, the Hamburg-based powerhouse behind Nivea, has launched a trademark opposition in the United States against Ziffy Smiles’ application for'NIVEUS', a teeth-whitening kit brand it claims too closely mirrors its iconic portfolio, including 'NIVEA' and 'NIVEA MEN SENSITIVE CALM'. The move underscores the company’s fierce defence of a brand that has become a European household staple and one of the world’s most valuable skincare names. Beiersdorf, which reported €9.9 billion in revenue in 2024, derives much of its strength from Europe, where Nivea dominates a cosmetics market in which skincare alone commands roughly 40 per cent of sales. The company, still under the control of the Maxingvest Group, has evolved from Paul Beiersdorf’s 19th-century medical plaster business into a global consumer goods giant, employing over 22,000 people and running not only personal care divisions but also adhesive technologies through its tesa subsidiary. Nivea’s prominence—valued at €6.12 million in 2024 and ranking as Europe’s top health and beauty brand—makes the challenge to “NIVEUS” more than a legal technicality; it is a strategic stand to preserve the integrity of a name that underpins Beiersdorf’s global dominance.
